We’ve found that our perfect blend of cardio, strength and stretch satisfies a special sweet spot for women in their 30s, 40s, 50s, and 60s although women of All ages have been known to fall in love with Bellyfit®.

It’s a moderate to intense workout depending on how hard you wanna work and it’s designed to be smart, which means that it’s safe, effective and always sweat inducing! Modifications are always being offered so you get the perfect class for you each time you show up.

Learn how to bellydance in this empowering and uplifting class. You’ll learn the foundation of bellydance movement within a structured format, focusing on technique and the muscles used to create the fundamental movements.

Always progressing at your own pace, listening in and serving oneself in each and every moment. Each class always begins with a full body warm-up and ends with a cool-down and stretch.

All levels are welcome – as students continue to progress, multi level options are offered to support your bellydance journey.

Body Connect and Let Be is a new class being offered by Candace. An exploration of Yin and Yang. Through movement, stillness and mindful breathing we will discover our way into letting be. Through movement, expansion and embodiment, we will discover freedom. A fusion of Yoga, stretching and strength movement we will explore the qualities of Yin and Yang through each individuals perspective in space in time.

One can embody all the pieces, expand oneself fully, infinitely and feel and be nothing at all.

Thursdays

Conditioning & Technique (Bellydance)

9:15 – 10:30 am

We like to start this class off with a great warmup and stretch, adding in strength movement to support our dance training. Working through technique, layering and combinations, we get pretty upbeat and free in our movement. With the mind a little behind in the wake up process, we find our bodies feeling a little more free to dive in and explore, without the take over of our wonderous thoughts and inquiries to all.

All levels welcome but previous bellydance experience highly recommended.

Choreography (Khamsa)

6:00 – 7:15 pm

All Salimpour, all the time! This class works exclusively in the formats of Jamila and Suhaila Salimpour.

This class is open to all levels of students. Some previous experience is advantageous but not necessary.

We are always working in and out of the formats on technique, specific format moves and of course constantly dabbling in choreographies.

We also use and play finger cymbals in this class. They are not necessary but encouraged. Mufflers on your cymbals required/preferred and earplugs highly recommended.
